Meeting Location
The meeting will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Berkeley Marina, located at: 200 Marina Blvd, Berkeley, CA, 94710 (tel: 510-548-7920).
The plenary session on August 20 will take place in the Islands Ballroom.
The poster session on August 20 will take place in the nearby Bayview Ballroom.
Breakout session on August 21 will take place in the following rooms: Amador, Mariposa, El Dorado, and California.
The Molecular Foundry tour on August 21 will depart from the DoubleTree on a special-service Berkeley Lab shuttle, stop at Building 67 of Berkeley Lab, and return to the DoubleTree. Site access requires a REAL ID-compliant, government-issued photo ID and prior registration.
Parking and Bus Service
Discounted parking is available at the DoubleTree, or you may park outside the DoubleTree lot in the Berkeley Marina area (please be attentive to any signage).
The Berkeley Marina is served by the 51B bus line which runs through downtowm Berkeley and the UC Berkeley campus area, and also connects at the downtown Berkeley and Rockridge BART stations.
We encourage biking, carpooling, and public transit use for those who are able.
Childcare
Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory does not offer childcare. However, our local area is served by the national back-up care agency, Bright Horizons. If you have benefits through Bright Horizons, you may book care through your portal.
